With no thanks to Qantas

July 28, 2009

Nightmare journey from Perth to Canberra. a hydraulic leak on an already delaying incoming flight meant we had to wait for a replacement plane. Finally landed in Canberra after midnight to a cab shortage and I didn’t make it to the hotel until 0130, by which time of course I am thoroughly awake! Will have to be awake for multiple meetings tomorrow, then trust to the good Lord that Qantas can get me to Melbourne with less drama. The one compensation was the shoring of Sunshine Cleaners which I hadn’t seen before. It’s an excellent example of story line which never fully resolves itself, but still has a feel good factor about it. Emily Blunt is excellent, stealing the show as she did in The Devil Wears Prada.
