P1010058.JPGOur next accreditation course will be in San Francisco from 18-20 June hosted by the University right in the middle of the city so a great location to follow up the success of Montreal. A good chance for the west coast of the USA and Canada as well as those who fancy an associated break in California. The usual mix of theory from me, and practice from Michael Cheveldave. Participation entitles you to sell projects using SenseMaker™ but a lot of people just come to extend the methods they can use for organisation change, strategy and learning along with knowledge management. Some of the newer stuff involves the theory of constraints as a means of managing complex environments, crews as an alternative to communities and task teams and mass consultation (wisdom of crowds). Normal deals available for academics and past participants wanting a refresh, on application and subject to availability.

About the Cynefin Company

The Cynefin Company (formerly known as Cognitive Edge) was founded in 2005 by Dave Snowden. We believe in praxis and focus on building methods, tools and capability that apply the wisdom from Complex Adaptive Systems theory and other scientific disciplines in social systems. We are the world leader in developing management approaches (in society, government and industry) that empower organisations to absorb uncertainty, detect weak signals to enable sense-making in complex systems, act on the rich data, create resilience and, ultimately, thrive in a complex world.
