Friday 13th

Never a good day, but the BBC’s On this day feed indicates that the 13th February has never been happy. Catherine, fifth wife of Henry VIII was executed for adultery in 1542 (given the syphilitic state of the regal member by that time one can hardly blame her) and then we have two war crimes. The Glencoe massacre of 1692 and the allied bombing of Dresden in 1945 (yes I know that is controversial but it also demonstrates the dehumanising context of war).

Apologies for the absence of blogs (including promised ones on life cycle and scenario planning. I have been engaged in the early stages of a major project which has been all consuming. Monday sees me on a train with 29 school children as a part thereof in one of the early stages. I hope to resume normal service next week.
