It’s always a delight to visit the Big Apple and I’m looking forward to being there again April 6-13. I’ve always stayed in Manhattan but during this visit I’ll be in Jersey City with the Manhattan skyline in the background. Our Cynefin & Sense-making course (April 7-9: Register here!) and LeanUX-NYC (April 10-12: Register here!) are both being hosted at the Westin Jersey City. Our NYC Cynefin & Sense-making course this year coincides with the LeanUX-NYC conference which Dave and are attending as speakers.  It’s lining up to be a rich week of conversations about Lean, UX, design, Cynefin, sense-making and complexity so if you’re looking for a great networking and development opportunity inspired by these topics it’s going to be a value-packed week!

Some past attendees have shared their impressions of Cognitive Edge training and have said:

“it has exceeded my expectations, re-kindled a lot of ideas, opened
me up to possibilities”

“I loved every single minute of the Cynefin training. The subject is
more than interesting, it’s important for me”

“I just wanted to say a very big thank you for a fascinating few days,
that were stimulating on so many levels that I find it hard to describe”

I believe the combination of Cynefin & Sense-making together with the LeanUX-NYC conference will create an even greater impact on participants that will be able attend both events.  Register soon to get some of the remaining seats.

LeanUX-NYC is very close to selling out for full conference tickets but there are some bundled tickets available for those interested in attending Cynefin & Sense-making AND LeanUX-NYC. You can also attend the full 3-day Cynefin & Sense-making programme or buy a ticket for part of Day 1 or individual days. Also by signing up for a free Cognitive Edge Basic membership you’re eligible for a 5% discount but if you upgrade to a paid Cognitive Edge Premium Membership you get a 15% discount. Email Dawn Lincoln if you have questions.

So come on out and join us for a few days or a full week of learning and exploration April 7-12 at the Westin Jersey City. When booking accommodations at the Westin be sure mention ‘LeanUX’ to receive the conference room rate. If timing of the NYC course does not work for you consider joining us in Toronto-Canada, Pretoria-South Africa, Copenhagen-Denmark or take a look at other courses coming up later in the year.
