Project Details:

Cognia, a member of the Cognitive Edge Network based in Australia, has won a competitive tender to conduct a SenseMaker-based efficacy study for the South Australian Thinkers in Residence Program through the South Australian Government’s Department of Premier and Cabinet.

For the past six years, the Thinkers in Residence initiative has been charged with bringing leading international experts to the State to work with related industry and Government stakeholders. Ranging across all sectors of the economy, from neuroscience to transport, the program’s mandate is to incubate new ideas and approaches, in line with a strategic plan for state-wide innovation and growth.

Cognia’s Mike Carroll believes that the success of his bid was in large part attributable to tying SenseMaker’s complexity and narrative-based approach with the stated goals of the Thinker’s programme to stimulate and encourage cutting edge and innovative approaches.

The study will be undertaken jointly by Cognia’s Mike Carroll and Emerging Option’s Chris Fletcher.
