There were in total three articles originally penned as appendices to the same Cultural Mapping project led by Narrate and supported by Cognitive Edge.

The third, now posted for download, is Dave Snowden’s Narrative Research, which lays the foundation for the use of narrative research and inquiry methods not only in the project but broadly in the field of research and consultancy. It is an invaluable resource for academics, professionals and laypeople alike.

To recap – the first article posted for download, Complex Dynamical Systems Theory , authored by Dr Alicia Juarrero, gave an introduction to the field of complexity theory and the second, Signifier Mapping by Dr Beth Meriam, principle anthropologist engaged on the project, documented the signifier design process.
