SenseMaker™ goes multi-lingual

SenseMaker™ now supports the Cyrillic and Urdu scripts in Collector capture sites. This is a significant development as it demonstrates SenseMaker's multi-lingual capabilities and opens opportunities for SenseMaker™ to be used in regions which do not use the Roman script.

Since the release of Collector v3.0, 16,000 narrative fragments have been captured in a variety of sense-making projects from around the world. Collector v3.0 features the ability to customise collector sites with Flash or HTML layers for specific requirements and greater image-embedding options for an enhanced UI experience.

Steve,

Do you plan to get it to work with double-byte input so it will work with Chinese/Japanese/Korean?

Thanks,

Bill

Steve:

Hi Bill

Thanks for the comment - SenseMaker™ is now double-byte enabled but we want to test it in a couple projects before we make it available for general release.

Cheers

We've got two new international applications on the boil. In March we'll be trialling it in Kenya in Kiswahili and in the same month in Spanish in Colombia.
