There is one location in Boston (or rather Cambridge) to which I always return, and from which I never emerge empty handed. As you can see from the picture its a bookshop, a rather shabby one from the outside next to Kendal Square. However it is, from my perspective the very best bookshop on the entire planet. Its not large, but it a wonderful selection of the latest thinking in philosophy, the cognitive sciences, language, technology, economics, architecture (and that is for starters. I've never spent less than $100, frequently more. Most of the major source books for my more novel ideas have come from books I didn't know I wanted until I found them here. It's one of those bookshops where individual titles seem to call to you from obscure corners of bookshelves. For those interested my haul this time comprised:
