On the 3rd August I am going to start the day with a flight from Broken Hill and will then spend the day in an Adelaide studio recording a whole set of clips. At the moment the plan is for a whole range of material: most of the stories,sSimple (but not simplistic) explanations of the Cynefin Framework, new ideas, project stories and the like. That material will be used in training, but will also (hopefully) be an asset to the network. We'll also make sure the delivery is flexible, although it may not be as flexible as the illustration.
Any requests? Add comments below or email. Mind you the last time I arrived in Adelaide from Broken Hill I was not feeling well, the you will have a good time promise of my hosts had been fulfilled and exceeded!

not about content but about form: please make it "atomistic", fragmented-on-purpose so it can be mashed up and put together again. And make the (IP, CC, or other) rights for re-use explicit. Make sure that you're clearly visible, so that others can not easily re-label the content as their own.

yes, fragments would be nice. 3 mins or so. Not much shorter.
Other suggestion: record 2-3 mins. implications for various industries: national gov., local gov, banking, engineering, infra providers, health etc, etc.
If you summarize what they can do different with the toolset and put that in EASY wording these little pieces can be gems.

Certainly your material will again be thought provoking. May I suggest that you consider introducing some of your contemporary research work as it relates to sense making using what I term to be crowd theory (Wisdom of crowds) not sure what you would terms it to be. I don’t particularly like the word “wisdom” but the concept of a large number of agents providing insights appeals to me.

Be simple - i think of your biggest market is government and therefore bureacrats need to understand your stories, within a few minutes.
Somewhere i heard about a seven minute rule, and three messages (working memory) - people switch off after seven minutes and only hear three messagevs - so I would make all videos less than 7 minutes and carry no more than 3 messages.
Besides, if bureacrats can understand them, then so can high powered CEO's.

I made this point in my comments on your KCUK keynote, but my writing is so bad it couldn't be transcribed...
There is a huge amount of material in your podcasts and in the blog about the reasons why traditional KM is dead. However, I have found it difficult to visualise the alternative -- what
sensemaking can do in an organisation.
It would be really useful to have a description (preferably with real-world examples, but I appreciate that this might be difficult) of how a sensemaking approach to knowledge flows can change the way an organisation views knowledge, and how that makes a difference.

My first vote is for 5 Snowden minutes describing cynefin.
My second vote is for short pieces -- based on your work -- that can serve as attractors (in the sense of the birthday party metaphor).
My third vote is for the falcon story.
Anything else you have time for would be added value. I think cynefin, attractors, and the falcon give sufficient material to work out implications of your work that are uniquely appropriate for the user's individual context.
