Those nice people at ARK want to make you an offer

I will be keynote speaker at the 6th annual Knowledge and Content Management Conference which runs from the 8th to the 9th of June 2009 in London. I will be the opening keynote on day two and the given title is Gaining a competitive advantage with enterprise social software. I will be picking up and expanding on some of the themes in my KM World Column and also talking about some of our current work on creating bridging tools between social computing and enterprise systems. One of those projects will involve narrative lessons learnt capture within a process environment so expect some twists!

Either way, the nice people at ARK have offered a 25% discount to anyone who reads this blog, which I think is a nice complement, they obviously want discriminating and intelligent people to have preference. I also have a few 50% discount seats which I will happily allocate to deserving causes (NGOs without budgets etc.) For the latter email me; for the 25% go the ark web site to book but say you are a reader of Dave Snowden's blog. I am not sure how long the offer will remain open, so take it while you can!

What they want even more is to advertise their conference through your blog, and this was a good way to get you to post something far enough ahead to encourage registrations.

I don't care whether you do that, but it should be represented honestly.

Dave Snowden [TypeKey Profile Page]:

i really must stop being British in my style of writing :-)

I am chuckling so much here as British humour is lost on so many people LOL

I would have taken up this offer, but I will be there anyway on a free pass (I am but a humble panel member). I hope to meet you there Dave (and David G as well of course).

Cheryl:

After a couple of years off from Ark events, the prospect of meeting up with you and David is more enticing than the discount (although that doesn't hurt either). But the link to their conference page doesn't work... their website seems to be down too.
