Dave
I look forward to reading, in due course, your take on the application of complex adaptive thinking to international rugby. Given the improved performance of the Welsh team with little change in the overall squad, are the positive results attributable to the coaching team? Do good coaches a. choose the right boundaries and b. marshal those boundaries effectively? Do the great coaches then realise that boundaries in one environment (eg home internationals) are distinct from another (eg a World Cup) and modify accordingly? Is Henry great or just good?
It seems that some of the boundaries for the Welsh squad are precise and understood. Sean Edwards told Mark Jones (and the rest of the squad), " Unless your arm or leg is broken, unless your head is split, you are carry on tackling.' Clearly a fractured skull is deemed within the boundary, and good on Jamie Roberts for carrying on....
