Its been a frantic few days with a whirlwind of presentations in Melbourne and Perth combined with flights and general sleep depravationdeprivation. I'm now in Singapore, in one of my favourite places to stay, refreshed with a long awaited meal of chicken rice (thanks Dawn) and planning to sleep in Saturday. I'm in Singapore for the a week to run an accreditation course (places still available) and catch up on various contacts as well as attend a network gathering. Some great conversations yesterday on battlefield knowledge management using fragmented partially constrained databases. More on that and other related subjects, including my speech in Melbourne and reflections on the dichotomy of systems dynamics and mysticism when I wake up tomorrow. For the moment, I am with Robert Frost:
Beside it, and there may be two or three
Apples I didn't pick upon some bough.
But I am done with apple-picking now.
Essence of winter sleep is on the night,
The scent of apples: I am drowsing off.

Sleep "deprivation" surely, but I do like that typo.
Now this Frost poem I was always led to believe is about death. Hopefully you are on the mend health-wise! I was trying to introduce my kids to Robert Frost the other day, but they did not get it.
Reminds me that Frost spoke at Kennedy's inauguration - who will Obama choose???
