It took some time today to sort out a hotel for Houston next week, and even now rumor has it that power may be out next week (a part of me is wishing that Ike had delayed itself by a week, I've never been in a Hurricane).  I am due to speak on Thursday to the Oil and Gas Exchange or at least that is the plan and I have flight, hotel and car reservervations.  The weekend is with friends in Austin after which I will fly to San Jose for what has become an annual keynote at KM World.  As part of a full week Mary Boone and I will also be presenting a full day pre-conference workshop on Leadership (based our HBR article) for those interested.  Its a big event for me this year as, for the first time we will be showing off SenseMaker™ on a stand in the exhibition.
