I have always loved George Orwell and his various writings have been a part of my life since the age of five when Animal Farm was a bed time story.  I had read every novel by teenage, but then started on the collected letters, journalism etc.  Published originally in a four volume set.  Now someone has had the brilliant idea of republishing the diaries as a blog, day by day but 70 years on.  Its an inspirational idea and one that could be followed elsewhere.
