Apologies for my absence, four whole days without a blog is unprecedented. I landed at midday last Friday, dashed home picked up the children and got to Bristol just in time to fly out to Italy to the wedding or Nancy and Andrea - our first CE practitioner wedding!. I then got back early Monday morning and dashed up to Warwick to teach, thence to Bangor to address a Welsh Assembly Summer School on narrative and leadership. More on that tomorrow when I wake up! For the moment I share one of the wedding photo's here. If you are ever in Northern Italy then the restaurant here is one of the best in the country, and has been for many years. It's located in the Castello Di Rivalta, home to the Duke of Piacenza and Parma, who was also present. Sunday was a trip to Verona and Lake Como with the happy couple and friends from Texas. A good break, but no email access for 72 hours is stressful when you come back.
You will either understand the above title or you will not, it rather depends what you were read as a child.

Is it just through some very weird coincidence that I set my IM away message to read 'bisy backson' a few days ago, after not having thought about that those words in years? Life is strange, C.R.

Well, I eat artichokes with great relish, and I live in a rather economically depressed town in the east midlands of England....
