Praise the blogosphere Dave, you have saved me from blogging (rather ranting) about this totally shameless human act. I remain staggered by the stupidity and cruelty of our species. How soon before polar bears are kaput, extinct?!

We live in constant fear of everything - in nothing do we see the wonder.
The so called 'Credit Crunch' is causing many a free-minded 'Polar Bear' to be shot by corporate bullies who live in ever more fear of everything!

The last visit was in 1993, when sailors saw a bear swimming off the coast of Strandir. It was also killed.
Polar bears were frequently tamed during the middle ages, but since then no bear has been captured alive in Iceland.
hmmm, i wonder why polar bears a)haven't 'visited' iceland since '93, and b)why none have been 'captured alive' there since the middle ages.
can anyone make sense of this riddle for me?
