AGILE

We are about to start a project with the AGILE community to use SenseMaker™ to understand the current experience of selling AGILE concepts to management, as well as general lessons learnt and knowledge transfer.  There are links here to work I am doing on project management and design methods using complexity theory, as well as the use of narrative is requirements capture.

I've written up the proposal on my blog, you might want to copy it over or link from your posting.

good move on Agile.

after attending an Agile unconference last year i've encouraged my research and evaluation team to adopt many of the principles in designing and conducting R&E projects here. we work for a central New Zealand government department.

adoption is progressing slowly, but on some projects the technique really pays off.

i'd advise anyone who needs or wants to free up innovative thinking and practice to adopt the methods.

Luca Letizia:

I am currently running a pilot where two of my projects are run using Scrum (a version of Agile). We started the pilot just after I went to the accreditation course in Cardiff. It has been a fascinating experience, and because I can see how the whole managment paradigm of scrum is very much in sink with complexity ideas (safe fail, managing the boundaries, the use of user stories), very interesting and it is going to grow hugely I think
