Mary Boone and I first met when she interviewed me for her excellent book Managing Interactively. We are writing an major article on leadership together at the moment which I hope to announce soon. She sent me this whole new take on the company song this morning. I can't make up my mind if it a satire or if in some crazy alternative reality someone actually got people to take this seriously. I managed during my IBM days to avoid singing the company song, and as a a child fled from the Ovaltinies. however for my sins, at the age of 11 as Green Sixer and leader of the Mold Pack I did (having earned by Leaping Wolf badge) lead the country howl at a jamboree. I almost did a repeat performance when I watched the video.
Mind you if you think that is bad - would you hire this audit team? Any ideas on what would be the most inappropriate popular song to adopt for the company of your choice? Or is it just too painful to think about?
