Actually I was hoping that by showing the hopelessness of certain applications of the binary consciousness, I would raise spirits by implying that there might be a better way to approach humanity. might suggest that to meet an issue "mindfully" one might have to abandon the current frame of reference and rise (metaphorically, of course) to a broader frame which includes the narrower frame. Nevertheless, your comments at:
Thanks Neal - apologies for the "dispair" word, it was intended as ironic. Having spent a large part of my life in environments where the approach you satirised was common it seemed appropriate. You will have to expand on what you mean by binary process analysis as I had no intention of stimulating an either/or conversation,but rather a both/and. However I see you have posted to the list serve so I will respond there for clarity.
On that list serve you raised my statement from time to time that some things are just
wrong, while other things have the potential to be right. I'll accept that is binary and will blog on that next week.
