Conditions for taking a chain saw on a bus

While trying to find out how to get a season ticket across competing bus services in Wiltshire (for my daughter who will find getting out of bed at 0600 a whole new experience) I discovered this delightful web site and a brilliant entry

That is one of the funniest blogs I’ve read today! I love condition two: screaming “I’m a Texan! This is a remake!” I think that might actually make for a better movie than the actual Texan Chainsaw Massacre remake, now that I think about it. I’ve taken the bus here in the US many times, and I’ve seen people try to take some of the most random items on it. One person wanted to carry on his case of power tools, including a power drill with battery. Another wanted to bring a weed eater with him. He claimed he was on his way to do some yard work for a friend and needed to use the weed eater. I don’t doubt his story, but the bus driver didn’t seem inclined to let him on with the machine. That’s one of the biggest drawbacks of the bus system, I guess – no heavy machinery allowed.

I wonder why chain saws should undergo strict requirements before they’re allowed to get into a bus. I’d like to think that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is really effective and real. By the way, the blog is so funny. I have one which lists down excuses made by students when they make their excuse letter for their absence from their class. Are you interested? I’d very willing to share it to you.
