Author: Dave Snowden
Details:
IBM established the Knowledge and Differentiation Program in Europe in 1997. The program’s staff developed innovative methods for the management of intellectual capital by building on ideas drawn from anthropology, medieval history, and complexity science to develop a series of methods, including a highly creative use of the age-old art of storytelling, to build self-sustaining ecologies that facilitate the natural flow of knowledge between the formal and informal communities that exist in all organizations.
